Hi all, i've just joined your club. Wehey!

I would like to commend ZED WORLD in Tamworth. An excellent service.

I received my 300zx a couple of weeks ago and booked it in with the specialists last saturday for a cam belt change. I went to get it the following Monday. They had changed the belt, the thermostrat, the water pump, flushed the coolant system, re-antifreezed, and did a general check for less than £400. Brilliant

Unfortunately, I only got 2-3 miles when the car began running roughly with no power. Thankfully, i was able to get hold of Jeff before he left work. The legend came straight out to me, diagnosed the problem within minutes (it was a loom malfunction, the first cylinder coil pack kept blowing), and escorted me back to the garage. He tried fixing the problem there and then (must have been 8pm by now), but between us we couldn't stop these coil packs blowing out. I had to agree to leave the car til i could pick it up Thursday...

Jeff called me Thursday and said that he had fixed the problem (something to do with the dormant remote start system that was on it) and that i could go get it. I was a bit concerned how much more i would have to pay, particularly having blown about four coil packs. When i got there though, Jeff chucked me the keys and said it's fine now, i've tested it a couple of times, no problems; no mention of money whatsoever. He even gave me a space-saver wheel that i was missing for nothing. I tried offering him something for sorting the problem which, incidently, really didn't seem anyones fault, but he wouldn't take a dime. He was just sorry i couldn't take it Monday and that our relationship was long term (apologies if that sounds a bit fruity); it was important to him that i thought the service was good. I thought it was superb in the end.

I took the zed out with a mate driving my Lancia Integrale rallymobile on saturday. It was perfect, a great jaunt.

I'm sure lots of you have already heard of, if not used Zed World, but if you haven't and you do need work done, bearing in mind they do pretty much anything, Jeff and his boys are excellent. Great service, great value.

Apologies for the essay... Needed to justify the recommendation.

Happy Zedding, Peter
