Hi Guys,

Just wondered if anyone knows of cheap source for stock air filters and pads for an NA?

Have tried to fit some patten air filters, but they are 3mm too thick, the cover won't batten back down and then the centre panel don't fit back on!

After some cheap NA front pads won't be on for long as I am gonna skyline the front!

Cheers

Mark

You wont need performance pads as N/A has no power tongue.gif

KEEP IT SIDEWAYS;).

Does N/A stand for "No Agro!" as I hear the turbo versions are more problematic than a Lada Niva running on race gas???

Mark,

I got K&N filters that need to be cleaned every 50k miles for about $40 off of Ebay and green stuff pads for about 60 quid.

I could feel the difference when both went on but of course the old ones were in bad shape.

Thanks guys,

I might take you up on the offer of those pads Macca, does anyone know if the 93 NA Jap import pads ar the same as a UK twin turbo!

Thanks Gio, tried MJP but it'll work out at £30 for a set of stock filters, when they'll get ripped out in a few weeks!

Cheers Bruce, want to try and sort out the filters in the next couple of days, so don't wanna wait for stuff from the USA!

All the best,

Mark

A brake upgrade is always a good "performance" improvement even on a NA car.

The NA weighs nearly as much as the TT and will reach similar road speeds(Just takes longer to reach them!)

The brakes on my NA always felt inadequate for the performance and weight of the car, especially when stopping from high speeds on the motorway.
