well.

my car has been in the insurance approved bodyshop for 4 months now, car with tow bar went through the fiberglass.

rather than just patch the effected area they decided to chop the front end off and bond in a new one...

so given the amount of work they made themselves i can understand its a decent sized job.

the main problem now is,

i got a call from the bodyshop today saying they have painted the front a different colour

i know they had the professionals out from dupont(sp) with a laptop trying to get a colour match, but surely after 4 months they would have got the right colour paint

i have been onto the insurance complaint department regarding the whole situation.

i have head deadline after deadline pass and still no car, booked 2 weeks off so could have a driving holiday but thats out the window now.

so the main question to be asked after this little rambly rant is...

what do i actually put a claim in for? what can i possibly expect to get back from the insurance company?

4 months insurance?

4 months tax?

4 months mot?

they supplied a fiesta as courtesy car, what chance of upgrade to something similar so could still go on holiday?

anything else?

i have to draught a letter and fax it asap

cheers for reading!

Nick.
