How do you adjust the bonnet alignment, mine sits a couple of mm higher than the wing on the passanger side, its something that has bugged me for a while just not got round to sorting it out, its raining at the moment so can't go and have a look.

Wind the rubber stop bung in abit and you might have to wind the other side out abit.Trial and error easy fix.

I don't have any rubber stops on mine :o.

 

I've always had bonnet life. At first I thought it was the bonnet sensor for the alarm but now I'm thinking it's the chrome fuse box cover or somehting else.

 

Is thee a away to adjust the catch level of the bonnet ?

I did originally try the bungs a while ago, but its a couple of mm out all the way along that edge, not just at the front of the bonnet, but at the hinge point aswell, I was wondering if there is any adjustment in the hinge?

Take off the catch mechanisim and elongate the two bolt holes with a Dremel or round file.The third bolt hole is slotted anyway.:cool:

No adjustment on the hinge Bud I'm afraid.You can put washers under the hinge bolts.Or stick a piece of 4" timber just above the catch and gentley like a hedghog makes love bow the sides down till you are happy with the fit.
