2. when i go in users and accounts, my thing is listed as 'administrator'

thats not the proper admin account

open the command prompt by holding the "windows key" and r, then type cmd and press enter

type "Net user administrator /active:yes"

job done

^ just done that... black box flicks on and off really quick ... try install again and still says

'you must be an administrator to install office 2007'

Did you manage to get this sorted? If not I would try exploring the office 2007 disc, find the executable installation file, right click it and click run as administrator. That usually sorts out any issues like this :)

nope didnt work :(

when logging off there was no option to log on as anything or anyone else... just Athene :(

The disc went flying out the bedroom window .... (not an original - lol.... ) i had it loaded before I had to re-install vista and its just not having any of it..

Try right-clicking the setup file and clicking Run As Administrator if you can get hold of another copy. Should work :)

Vern
