There has been quite a few done in the states i think, perhaps worth looking on us forums as well for their input (be wary of there claimed power outputs though ;) )

From what I can make out if you have the skills to do most of the work yourself and not forgetting the time, then it can be well worth it otherwise its just ends up spiralling in price and garages you pay wont always do the best job simply given the time/ cost factors, its uncharted territory for many. would be awesome to have a V8 Zed though.

And you say V8 but are you thinking Yank or Jap? The former is probably a lot less hassle as it's been done many times before particularly in the US so there's a fair few off the shelf parts available but there's something very satisfying about using a Nissan V8...however virtually everything you need needs to be custom made which = £££'s ;)

Had to be a DIY job, lots of custom fabrication and time in planning. You wont find any Companies that have done it before and you would be talking an absolute fortune to pay somebody to do it.

 

A lot of it depends on how far you go with it though.

 

Im not a fan of sticking an American V8 in the Z, but the VH45de Nissan V8 is very :cool: !!
