Help, detonation sensor circuit.

Ive had a few problems with my auto box being stuck in hold mode and cant find the problem.

Ive just done the ecu diagnostic test and the knock sensor code is coming up, (detonation sensor circuit) would this keep the car in hold mode it wont go into a/t or power mode could this be the problem ?????

    No, it wont have any affect on the autobox. It will however put the ECU in safety mode and will be down considerably on power.
