Hi im hoping someone can help me?

 

I have a Ab-flug front bumper that had a few stress marks in.

So the guy repairing the body work on my car said he would repair it by sanding the bumper back down to bare fibre glass and repair it.

 

Well after he finished i couldnt believe my eyes he had attacked it with a D.A sander:rant:

Now the bumper has lost its curves and in some places flattened parts off where lines and details where. And in places the fibre glass is so thin its impossible to try and re-shape.

 

The guy is now trying to avoid me and im really getting pi$$ed off!

 

Is there anywhere or anyone who maybe be able to save it??

give my mate scott at shout at custom ecotices over in harlow, he's good with f/g and sorted my kit out so it fit smooth.

The nicest front bumper on the market as well and will cost near enough £700 to ship a new one in which is why i made the one in my sig pic

get a poly one they are so much more practical

I really like the bumper tho and i dont really want to change it.

 

I just cought up with the Butcher and he said what do i expect as it is fibre glass!

My reply was well it wasnt like it before you touched it! :mad:

 

Looking at it most of the parts that are damaged they didnt even need to be touched. Anything that was in reach of the spinning disc was attacked.

 

Some parts of the detailing on the bumber has got to be removed completely off both sides of the bumper now to try and make it look half decent.

 

So pi$$ed off

I could fix it for you, but I'm a ways off from you and I'm busy as fook over the next 2 week then off to Porto for the following 2 weeks. After that I'd get it looking like again if you want. Also Car.Mad 45 miles away from me is a Top Man with the old fiberglass so may be worth giving him a nudge. Keep it in the family so to speek.

I would be very greatful if you or Car.mad could save my bumper from the skip.

 

I would rather leave it with a member who shares the same passion with the Zed than a guy who clearly doesnt have a clue.

It is the best bumper available for the Zed and would be a shame to let it die from neglect. We'll have to sort out the logistics of getting it to me and then it would warrent a trip down to see my good buddy Wozzer for a weekend of Debortched abuse to return it. :wack::rofl::rofl:
