Have f1s,need replacing.Toyos about £83 f1s £85 anyone any thoughts?:)

Good question....... I had them on a '98 SWB TT, I can't remember if I drove it in the rain. If I DID, then all was well, nothing alarming happened. This was with boost up to 13psi too.

 

Russ_T owns it now, has done for a few weeks. Maybe ask him his experiences if he's drove in the wet with them.

Yeah love the Toyos, never really seem to let me down :) Seem to be lasting ok so far as well! You can still spin it up in the wet if you try obviously, but they aren't a "SUPRISE NO GRIP!" kinda tyre, if you start to lose it to me it seems quite progressive. Really stick well in the dry round corners as well definitely.

 

I'd buy them again anyway :)

i have just gonr to the toyo proxos II had proxo 1 s before , the tread patern isnt as visualy impressive but the tyres stick like a tenner to an Aberdonian wet or dry ...no issues i would definatley buy them again

where are the toyos £83? i need some myself, had em a few times, want em again!

 

altough i have had them slip in the wet before but like was said before, it seemed proggressive, wasn't a suprise

Myth.........:nono: had a couple old twins in 60's & 70's sorted them out no leaks...mind you have a few japs that leaked ........sorted them out too.Mind you having said that ,wouldnt have anything other than jap now ....Japanese liability and all that:rolleyes:
