Hi just been loking through the vast history and documents folder that comes with my Z and it has been looked after quite a lot by SE Nissan in the past who are now closed. I was just wondering what happened to the people that fixed the cars there, are they still in the trade or on this forum, part of the comunity etc. Just out of interest really I guess the people involved must have a lot of knowledge about Z's.

Anyone know?

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

my zed was worked on completely by SE in its past as well...got the stickers around the engine bay as well...as i understand it they used it as a show car for their handywork at somepoint...shame they closed down though as would have been good to take the zed back to them for work...

Hi yeah I know they are closed down now I was just interested to see if any of the mechanics etc were still involved in the Z scene. Those guys had a lot of experience so was wondering if they were around.

tbh i'm not sure the mechanics were much cop - all the engineering expertise was peter ( who owned se nissan ) Peter knows more about engines than just about anyone - its just a pity it wasnt only him working on the cars - if you really want to get hold of him the only person who might still be in contact is Mac1 but i'm not sure if peter is still working on cars or not these days

regards,

alex

Dude i've just clicked!

Your car was in a Max Power video many years back!

Some kind of top speed on a runway thing.

I would say that there is NO better High powered engine specialist than Peter R, It's just a shame his business skill's weren't as good. :(

That does look an awful lot like my car...the front grille looks more like mine than that of 'crazy eddies'! BUT...i cant make out the reg...which would clear it up for me...oooo...exciting!! :hyper::hyper:

Correct. And I have a list of parts/work that SE Nissan allegedly did on the car which totals £20k. I don't believe that any more.

I've got a list totalling abiout that much as well and from the pics in your rides it appears we both have similar mods....maybe they just photocopied the spec sheets?? lol....hope not though! Need to get a look into my engine before I know for sure I guess...
