gearbox swap??

Just wondering if anyone here has done an auto to manual conversion on a z? I know of an auto with a broken box and was just wondering if it could be an option for a cheap car (realy not an auto fan!)

    hi mate done mine myself its quite easy if you have the patients and the time its worth doing as it saves on fuel and the car feels a hell of lot diffrent you wont be disopointed mate

    Would be doing the job myself i should think, is there anything major to worry about? Have done gearboxes etc before, just not on a Z.

    Taking a gearbox off a Z is quite easy to be honest.

     

    Not sure about fitting all the manual stuff tho (clutch pedal booster, vacuum lines etc etc).
