Can't reply without making some additions.Th cars I have owned.

Datsun Cherry 100A K reg (hence my Datsun/Nissan obsession),

Ford Escort 1300 MK 11(powder blue)! (the worst car in the world. )

Ford Capri Mk2 (Learned a lot about why cars don't work).

Ford Capri Mk3(Fawn/Brown Colour, learned a bit more about how cars don't work).

Datsun/Nissan 280ZX ( Wanted a 240Z but this was new/reliable enough to get me back and forward to work).The best car I have ever owned.

The wife gets involved here,

Talbot Samba.( No comment).

Nissan Micra. (Nissan finally getting the credit they deserve.)

Renault Clio RT. (1300 I think, less room under the bonnet thaan a 300! )

BWW 318i convertible.(Boring as f*** but I ncould watch the electric roof go up/down all day, a beautiful piece of engineering).

Toyota Celica Mk3( The square one, horrible)

Toyata Celica 1600GT Mk1 (Beautiful, simple).

Nisan 300zx 2 off 1 TT 1 NA.

 

Cars I would like totally original standard

 

Datsun Cherry 100A (anyboby got one).

Datsun 240z (anybdy got one).

Nissan 300Zx (got 2).

In the 80's I used to like the

Opel Manta GT.

Used to be one in our street when they first came out and I thought it was the bees. But I was only 5 at the time.

 

My dad had a

Starion.

Got a normal one then the wide body one. That looked the part now. Looking very old now a days.

 

Others are I remember are

 

Golf GTI Think every school boy dreamed of owning one

Porsche 959

Lamborghini Countash

Sierra Cosworth

DeLorean Looks so cool on the film. But crap in real life

Lotus Esprit

Carlton Lotus But I think this was released early in 1990.

I too owned a mk2 Capri and a 280ZX.My 280ZX was only 3-4 years old at the time and was a great car!It used to turn heads on the High Street back then!

Another car I liked at the time was a Matra Murena 3 seater.Although they were only powered by a 1.6 or 2.0L Talbot engine,they were unusual and looked great!

not owned, but great cars iv worked on & wanted!!!

 

Lancia Delta Intergarale 16v - nutter car when it first arrived, put a great big smile the first time i tested one!!

 

Lancia Thema 16v turbo - very quick understated luxury saloon.

 

Lancia Beta coupe Volumex - bit old & a rust bucket but had really nice lines and was supercharged.

 

Lancia Beta spyder - great looking car, again loads of rust.

 

that was the end of my Lancia days - on to Veedub / Audi

 

Golf Gti - great for thrashing around in - bullet proof if looked after.

 

Corrado Vr6 - luved these, never got round to owning one

 

Audi quattro - the biz, what can i say.

 

Audi RS2 - woohoo! now were talking.

 

onto mercs then (ok I now these are all newer but deserve a mention)

 

SL500 - yes please, bit of a soft ride but damn nice machine

 

E55 AMG - dead fast saloon car

 

S600 - luxury at its finest

 

ML55 AMG - !!!!????!!! bonkers 4wd motor
