Abit worried about the oil lines i had made up to turbos (greddy td05 18g's).

I have read the oil should have restrictors to the turbos.

I e-mailed the company that made the oil feed lines for me and they said they can supply me restrictor bolts or in line but! some turbos have the restrictor built in and i should find out first.

Can anyone shed any light for me?

Get in contact with greddy and have them send you the correct restrictions ive read horror stories of peeps fitting turbos that have blown again and again due to wrong restrition :(

Feel better now just got a email back from a turbo company i was told to contact:

Hi chris

On the greddy units (which are made by Mitsubishi) you do not need to run an oil restictor. Only on the Garrett ball bearing turbos where the oil pressure is above 60 psi will you need to run a restrictor.

and i phoned to check what if i put restrictor in and he said it wont do them not good.

Just glad i dont have to lose any skin off my hands trying to sort them!

Ohh just got an email back from 'Greddy Performance Products'

Thank you for your interest in Greddy Products. We apologize for the delayed response, we are experiencing email issues. It is recommended that the turbos oil feed be restricted. If it is our kit, then the kit came with restricted oil lines. Therefore you are fine.

Waiting again now as i emailed back for the size
