I want to remove my rear spolier (the crappy rubber one). I don't want to go down the re-spray route as in hindsight, the car doesnt warrant it. The spoiler however, has to go. What are my options as to what to do where the spoiler once was without having a full respray?

Cheers guys.

your gonna have to get it painted regardless mate, it'll be a different colour and theres 6 holes in the boot lid, the only way to do it really is to replace like for like but you'll probably have rust under there.

either way the car needs some holes filled and prepped for paint as a minimum on the tail gate, the best bet would be to get a tailgate skin from zedcenter, while you are at it remove the rear wiper fill all the holes and respray the boot to match ,,if you are having painting done ....a really good mod to carry out at the sam etime is smoothing the stone guard from the rear bumper and sills and get them sprayed up at the same time , what a difference that makes ..HTH

Thanks for you advice. Know how much I am looking at to respray the complete tailgate? Also, how do I smooth the stone guard?

this is what you will end up with when the spoiler is removed

p.s, dont worry, you dont have to cut your arches and remove the rear bumper aswell lol
