any ideas on bhp

i have done a few engin mods and im just interested on what bhp you think it may be. i have chiped it and it is running 14psi ive got the twin induction kit of smithy and i am buying the mongoose exhast and de cat pipes it is a auto tt also what other mods can i do.im power hungy now.

jwt claim just shy of 400bhp with a similar set up

but i feel you could honestly say about 350-360bhp(about 70-80bhp above standard)

Hmmm, well I had almost exactly that setup with JWT chip and it was showing about 280bhp at the wheels ! With the SE chip it was up to 312bhp.

 

Anyway, JWT quote 'crank' figures, but I don't believe you loose THAT much through an auto box. However, the JWT figure will be based on the alleged US spec of 300bhp, whilst most UK and Jap cars are quoted less.

 

Anyway, my figures, lower line is JWT, upper is SE :-

well if a standard zed puts out about 220-230bhp@wheels thats 50-60bhp loss..

so 312bhp@wheels =362-372bhp at crank so not to bad a guestimate!
