Hell yeah.....i cannae justify putting all your hard work to waste!!! I'm wanting 500bhp+ before i go though!!!!

So your still going but want to get it at its best before you go mate :D.

Exactly, do u think 500 should be achievable on my set up? maybe a doolz intake and a damn good map???

Good good. Im gonna think about doing something induction wise, maybe a doolz twin set-up or something. Then get it remapped.....and that'll be me (for now!!!!!)

Anyway, i think we need to stop spamming this guys thread and get back to these blown head gaskets! :wack:

hi there sorry work keeps getting in the way

any way the car overheated yesterday let it cool for a while then boiled lot of kettel's ran it for appox 30-40 min to bleed though drove to work tonight left it for 3-4 hrs checked water still neede more there a still bubbles comming though water poss air block but not to sure if there is steam comming from exhaust when reving the engine could just be some condesation in exhaust but with my luck (bad alll bad) and gut feeling it may be head gasket and all because who i bought it from did a cowboy job on the rad

Best to check the usual mate! Take the oil filler cap off and look to see if there is any cream cheese on it? Also check for oil in the water if you have that then you could be looking at your head gasket??

Im having similar problems with mine but recent head gasket test turned out to be negative!!

wierdly drove it for a good two hours today - didnt boot it and it was as sweet as a nut - hasnt even lost any water! There might be a few different causes for what you are describing -have you had a look at the state of your rad cap? It could be that it has leaked and the bubbles you are getting is from an airlock like you said. Best thing to do if you are worried is do a chemical sniffer test for you head gasket.

are the turbos water cooled on the 300 hundreds?? i never got my head down there to look at them to find out when i owned mine , i always took mine to traders on here ,,, ps if they are water cooled i may have a good idea whats causing this ,
