Christ, how much are ya paying for insurance - it must be through the roof!.

How much is your insurance? mine is bad enough (im 43!!!!!!)

Isnt there some one else on there from there? I am sure there is.

Isnt there a law there saying you cant import cars into the country older than 3 years old. I remember some one saying the cost a packet over there.

Yes it's true you can't import cars older than 3 years! but my car was imported before that law. And yes you can get expensiver insurance but I pay £25!

im 20 soon to be 21 and i get shafted up the bottom for insurance in england

I got my Z when I was 21. That cost me £1200 insurance, Third Party Fire + Theft. £100 of that was interest though paying it off monthly.

I'm 22 now and have been quoted £685 fully comp for insurance that's why I want one!

 

I'm 27 and I pay £371.

IM 22 AND PAY £1600 TPF&T ITS ONLY THIS MUCH COZ I HAVE 11 POINTS ON MY LISCENCE GOT THESE THROUGH SPEEDING ON MY BIKE BUMMER A BIKE INSURANCE COSTS ME £1900 A YEAR NOT IMPRESSED BUT THATS LIFE

If you only pay 25 of our english pounds for your insurance on a top supercar then what happens if you own an escort or other typical junk box out there? Do the insurance companies pay you to drive it around???

Surely the £25 will only cover 3rd party risk like running over the odd goat! No way that includes damage to your car? Guess theft risk is low cos a Z will stand out there too.

Willie, fully comprehensive, business use too and insured no claims bonus all mods declared and wheels too but the b*ggers still wont pay for them if they get nicked!

I would check that. Make sure its not a pre 90 ZX you have a quote for. I looked at them when I was doing insurance quotes and I phone round a lot of places. Elephant quoted me £1200 3rd Party Fire and Theft, in a low crime area, with 5 years no claims, 5 years driving and Im 22.

 

Plus any claims you have to make with them you have to phone a premium phone number or talk to people on line. Not what I would like to do if it does happen.

 

I just did a quote. Fully comp, 23, 5years NCB unmodified £1700.

I'm just turned 24. Paying £1688 fully comp on the insurance (3 points, plus 14 day ban on licence, and three years no claims.. touch wood!!!).

 

I've got a Pug 306 Gti-6 as well.. bizarrely the Z is cheaper to insure!!!?! go figure! Got rid of a 1995 BMW 730i for my ZX... love it!
