Just wanna give a big big thank you to Duffman (aka Andy) for helping me through yet another break down

 

Arranged for Andy to take my car in today and iv had a few issues with the lower radiator hose which i kept thinking would give way before i got there but it held up the entire 150 miles until i got into Rotherham where it decided to burst at a set of traffic lights..... Parked up and got on the phone to Andy who drove down and luckily the very same morning i picked up a brand new made lower radiator hose from SFS Performance.....excellent quality silicone hose makers by the way......right there on the spot he changed the hose for me while attracting a few odd looks...(its bright yellow, what would you expect) got it to the unit and he very kindly dropped me off to the station.....absolutely top guy and deserves a pat on the back, could not further recommend this guy

 

Anyway regarding the rest of you......drove four hours today and did over 160 miles and not one Zed....where the hell are the rest of you....i know petrol has gone up but the weather was excellent today, perfect for taking the roof off and just cruising the day away

 

Anyway......was a good day in the Zed until i broke down but it ended well

A good drive in the Zed would have cured that hangover.......i dont know if its me but i see zeds when im in my daily driver but whenever im in the Zed its like they all dissapear

Lovely Zed you got there Fas, would love to see this at a few National meets.

Hopefully this year it will be at some meets.....question is my work load is heavy and im having to juggle everything so im gona try my hardest.......by the way theres one car iv always wanted to see and till the first moment i spoke to the owner back in 2003 iv never had the chance to see it and that is Mac's car......

ye top bloke Andy is, i drove all the way from Darlington and he came to meet me so i could follow him back, then he even went out of his way to drop me off at my sister in laws house in Barnsley, well done that man.

Not getting anything major done but i did manage to get SFS to make a lower radiator hose in yellow and im adding all that extra vacuum hosing i got from you and other bits from Dan and other things iv been collecting over a period of time.....car should be a little quicker and hopefully more reliable once hes tinkled with it
