I have just fitted some 6 pot rear led lights and there doesnt appear to be enough voltage from the rear light supply to power them. I tried a 9v adaptor and they worked.

Has anyone fitted these themselves and if so if i have missed something, advice would be most appreciated.

Cheers

Graham

Hi Mario, i know the + and - issues, they work when i connect a voltage adaptor, but not when i try them with the light feed. I will try swapping the wires as its the only thing i havent tried.

Did you just wire yours into the existing light feed?

Cheers for the reply

Ive sorted it, cheers mario for pointing out the obvious.

I say obvious, the lights were already wired when i got them and have just discovered that the black on the led rings is the feed and not the brown as you would expect.

Cheers

hi mate. yes, i wired the brake light wire + direct & used the resistor supplied inbetween the side light + wire, to the same wire. if you understand that lol
