Squeeking

I get a funny squeeking noise when I shut my driver side door or drive over bumps from the front of the car, somewhere near the drivers side front wheel. Any ideas what it could be and how to cure it?

    What causes it? Ill put some tape or something on the squeeky offender to stop it happening again.

    Grease lasts about 5 mins on the latch. I wrap insulation tape round it, lasts a little longer. I need to re-do mine as it's started squeeking again!
