anyone know what is the best sort of chip for one of the above mentioned cars, my mate has just aquired said vehicle and is adamant he wants to chip it

 

any clues????

on a serious note tho you can buy these little black boxes that plug straight into the ecu!! but be warned on bmw deisel engines the injectors can be a bitch to remove. we couldn't get an injector out of my bros car even suspending the damn thing by the injector so the vehicle was hanging by it while using a slide hammer!!!!

 

he ended up having to replace the head and the injector was siezed into the block. at £600 for a set of injectors alone is it worth chipping!

 

apparently it VERY COMMON fault . across all bmw deisel engines fitted to bmw's and freelanders and i think rover!

Speak to flikz on here. I had a vw unit of him and he drives a bmw 320. tandemtuning.co.uk is his firm....I'm very impressed with mine and it's an in line unit...
