Me again. Just took the car to the body shop and on arrival it was leaking coolant from under the near side wing from what I presume is the overflow pipe on the rad cap? The engine wasn't over heating and both the fans were purring away. Do you think this could be due to the fact that the air con hasnt been working for ages and because I had it on all the way (about 20 minute run) now working properly? Or could it be anything more sinister? No signs of any back presure or anything like that in fact there dosent seem to be anything amiss at all just this water leaking out.

Check the level in the expansion tank Vinnie,it should only be to the correct mark.Any more and it will just overflo when rad is hot.

Could be a faulty rad cap.Or just overfilled expansion bottle as said.:)
