I just stripped out my headlight inserts for the second time. The first time a couple of years ago in a group chrome thing, but like a fool I more than likely didnt seal the glass back in with stuff that was up to the job. Now my question is, is there anyone out there who had this done and their inserts are still fine. If there is, can you pleaswe tell me what you used, because I don't fancy doing this for a third time... Cheers

(p.s.. edited your thread - was all in caps ;) Athene )

I had 2 sets done and they both pitted if that's what's happened to yours? If that's the case, think it's happened to quite a few peoples :(

Think you should try sikoflex, it's for sealing up the sides of trailers, lorrys and caravans. May be wrong but that's what I would do it with. Think it may also be the same stuff that seals the rear lights in. I managed to seal the outer sun-roof trim on my williams with it and have never even had a drip of water since. I got it from Ding-Bro, If am wrong am sure someone will soon say tho.
