cleaning the engine bay

well the car has been off the road for a year now and iv not long got it back from the bodyshop, needless to say the engine bay isnt looking its cleanest was just wondering what the best way to clean it all was and anythin i can do while im in there to smarten it up without spending lots of money lol

 

this should have probably been in help and advice if someone wants to move it for me lol
