Temp gauge not working

Took the car for a spin today, and the temp gauage has stopped working, its been fine until today, does anyone have any ideas what it could be thanks..

    Maybe dry joints on the back of the speedo :confused: Dry joints tend to be a very common fault. HTH :)

    try cleaning the connector to on the top water pipe that comes out of the front middle of the engine.

     

    The connector will be the black one, this goes to the dial. The yellow one goes to the ECU.
