landrover freelander 1.8 missfire prob

my sisters landrover is missfiring slightly under load, mainly when accelerating in 4th or 5th

 

its a 1.8 v reg, think its the rover k seres engine, changed the usual plug leads and dizzy cap, still the same, anyone have any ides or had any similar probs, im thinkig maybe coil breaking down????

    Try the rotor arm mate. They are very prone to air mass meters and head gaskets are a speciality for these cars as well. Do a compression test and see if that comes up with anything.
