Service/Mechanic in West London?

Hi All,

Can anyone reccommend a good mechanic/shop in West London/Middlesex/M4/M40.

I need all my belts changing (I have the belts from my last Z, but wrote it off the day before the were due to be fitted by Nissan) The belts I have are for a 1992 car, but my new Z is a 1991 - any difference?

I would also like to change plugs/oil/clean throttle bodies/TPS etc. any maybe flush AT? Depends on cost - I'm NOT loaded!

Anyone know of anyone who is 1. competent and 2. REASONABLY priced.

Cheers

Neil

Leigh always recommends his bloke - Sovereign (Steve) 01189 402027 in Twyford I think.

I just found a bloke in Datchet who seems OK - Steve (again) Lucas Garage, 01753 520403

Only used him for fixing odometer and fitting pads and MOT but seemed nice enough. On the two visits, I have seen a GTO3000, 911 and some form of Ferrari there so someone seems to trust him. He also claims to look after 3 or 4 Zeds but I don't know who they are.

I have used Richard at R & D Motors in Harrow to look after my four Zs and he has done a great job on them. His prices are reasonable and he is not VAT registered so you save 17.5% on labour. His number is 020-8427-8890. He is a very laid back guy, but a great mechanic.
