Some bas*ard thieving shits decided to attempt to break in to my Zed early this morning.

 

Thing is, the rocks they were planning on chucking through the window obviously weren't good enough, so they've peeled back the door skin around the lock

 

Thing is, they didnt even take anything, which makes me feel even worse, but the boot was open which makes me think its someone that heard I was planning a big install, but didn't know none of it was in yet - they didn't even take the headunit which i had stupidly left the faceplate on overnight (never again), or the front components!!

 

So I need a new passenger door, if anyone can help, any colour but preferably black. If not, I'll have to see how much a repair bill will be, which I really don't want to do.

nothing can explain the feeling of guttedness that washes over you when you see something like this.

 

They had already scarpered before I got to there, so there was no chance me catching anyone.

And this is the second time - I had £1500 of stereo nicked from my last car right outside my house too, a couple of years ago.

 

and do you know what the police said? 'Been a busy night hasn't it, 8 cars got done in. butt we're not going to come out becuase it's too difficult to get prints.

The police dont give a sh*t - even if you hand them the bad guys on a plate they couldn't care a t*ss

 

If I had a spare door it would be yours for nothing but I dont, I have got a inner door panel if they damaged that though, yours for free if you need it...

Have to think about getting a lock up now, or perhaps trying to fit it in my garage (I thought it would be too big to fit, but it's worth trying now)

 

the interior is completely unmarked - that's what made me think they thought i had stereo in the boot - no damage to the boot itself, so I guess they popped it from inside, but they didnt take anything else while they were in there!?!?!?!?!?!

 

here's hoping I can get hold of a door soon.

I know how you feel. My door lock was broken about a year ago, they didnt get in and so didnt take anything, but by looking thought the window you can see there was nothing there to nick. The radio was out and I have no speakers in the back, just stock. The thing that pissed me off the most is that my CAT 1 alarm didnt go off.

I've just rang a breakers that I've used and they have a black door skin (no window/panels/etc) for £90.

 

There in Sratford, E.London and if I can help in any way, let me know.

Sorry to hear what happened Andy i know what its like i had me cossie nicked a couple of years back i was guttted , but chin up m8, they never got anything although it does sound like they where looking for something in particular,
