Just thinking, what performance figure difference's are there between stock and 500bhp z, for example, 0-60, mid range, top speed, is it a huge amount of difference?

Featured Replies

there will be an entire honda civic type R difference...

Say stock is

5.6 - to 60

14.4 to 100

165mph flat out

500bhp would put you at around

low 4's to 60

maybe just over 10 to 100mph

and depending on the map and turbos to the perhaps the max top speed of the box, 186mph on the stock rev limit for the manual, and 204 for the auto (probably not attainable since the torque converter will slip a little bit...)

not sure dont have either! LOL

Probably not so far off, although it will probably rattle more. End of the day although the zed is considered a heavy car, 1600-1700kg thats not a heavy car to hasve 500bhp (see m5 and m6 are both around the 1850kg mark)

well....tested on my previous 2+2 TT Manual, when running 1 bar boost I was achieving with Datascan :

0-60 : 4.8secs (I recorded a 5.7 on stock boost)

0-100 : 11.97 secs (I recorded a 14.1 on stock boost)

not sure dont have either! LOL

1500-1600kg (TT) ;)

Performance Calculator : http://www.letstorquebhp.com/calculator.asp

This is surprisingly accurate in most circumstances.

THere is also a great piece of downloadable software called "cartest" which allows you to alter all sorts of parameters (weight, power, gearing, wheels ...etc) and see how it affects performance...all based on tested mathematical calculations.

These cars are just great arn't they, get bourd of the power, then just mod them agan instead of buying a new car.

That all?? Im sure they are 1640kg STD for a LWB TT.

I suppose they'll have lost 40kg with all the bits dropping off and rust!
