Id like to thank Jeff for all the hard work hes done for me over the past few days, what some of you dont realise is Jeff was checking the White L plate Zed out for me which in the long run (or most probably short) would of cost me a bloody fortune, Jeff drove a long f**king way to see this car for me b4 i bought it, to find out its a wreck and when he posts it in forums to help people out all some of u do is slag him off, Jeff went well out of his way to help me with this car inspection and posted it to help some people who r newbies out,

 

Yes i have payed Jeff (well as at the moment i havnt And jeff has not once asked for the money which he will get asap this week),and i dont care what it would cost at the end of the day if Jeff wouldnot have driven a long way to check this car out for me i would of ended up with a Zed and been skint for years to come, sooner or later ill end up with a Zed Jeff is looking now for me and he will ALWAYS have my custom it will go no where else,

i think what jeff did regarding the posting of a warning about a potential shed to members was a very good thing

 

it is the sort of thing that this forum is all about, part of the reason it was set up

 

however, if what he did to martin and others is true, then that would counteract any good deeds in some peoples opinion

 

there are always 3 sides to a story, sometimes we hear one side, we dont always hear two.

 

unfortunately for jeff, there are some people that have had bad experiences from him, and some people that dont like the way he does things.

 

but by the same token there are people that have nothing but praise for him and his work.

 

this situation sounds much like every other tuner/supplier/garage that is ever mentioned on the forum

 

i for one get annoyed when it looks like someone has a vendetta against another, but i also get annoyed when people we entrust to do something do not do it properly

 

unfortunately some of these things occur when i am unable to post/moderate, and i am accused of apathy or favouritism.

 

the former i am sometimes guilty of, the latter, never knowingly

 

i'm glad that you have found someone you feel you can trust to give you advice and do work for you

 

at the end of the day, its how you feel that counts, as you own the car and are paying the money

 

how many people will use jeff, how many wont ?

 

how many will use silvia and how many wont ?

 

hiteq ? tdi ? gps ? cybercraft ?

 

the list goes on

 

there is no right or wrong here, but the way companies conduct themselves is always a good indication. you have to hear the good and bad, and decide for yourselves

GPS 9/10 The best prices around.

Costs as much in phone calls as you end up saving though!

Latz has improved the customer service 100% but I still can't get through! LOL

 

Hiteq 10/10 for NOT doing much work (could have done a head gasket job and charged a fortune etc but instead gave me a Rad cap FOC and replaced a part they broke that I would not have even noticed - top marks for honesty, told me to come back when I had a big job!)

 

TDI - never used 'em so can't comment.

 

Cybercraft - Not actually bought anything but the advice has been un-biased and very knowledgeable.

 

Zedworld - I'll see when I get my headlight upgrade back.
