proven innocent? this really undermines natural justice....how about you get really large employers set up their own database because they cant be bothered to use the courts / police...this is basically staff they accuse of theft, fraud, damaging company property etc they then sack them or the staff quit but who arent actually convicted of anything

what a fooking joke http://www.hicom.co.uk/businesssolutions/nsdr.htm

it goes that you dont even have to have been convicted of any criminal offence to be on this....its just the say so of your old boss/firm with their self appointed standard of proof and bingo its shared around different companies...branded for life and no job!!!

cant see the human rights people standing for it.

The idea behind the courts is for a fair and reasonable trial for all based on convictions being made with evidence being considered by respected and educated judges etc.

Its a load of rubbish, Im suprised its even legal!

They will base it upon the balance of probabilities as opposed to beyond all reasonable doubt for onus of proof and I believe that's how most decisions would be made anyway when it comes to dismissal. Furthermore I would notexpect an employer to register someone carelessly without some sort of evidence otherwise they will get sued. I can't see a problem, there aint no smoke without a fire as the saying goes.
