YAY. Got the bushes on!!!!

Went for a drive and my conclusion is.....

The back end is really squdgy. wink.gif

The front is now tight and I think that the ride is smoother. May have been that the original bushes where that bad. The responce from the wheel is much much faster and more precise.

But not the back end feels really bad, lagging behind round corners. frown.gif

Did any one else find that too?

Also any one know how much to a rear set of polly bushes will be and how much for some one to put on?

Stu mate, if you find out where to get a kit let me know cos I'd be interested.

But I think rear sub frame bushes can be a bitch if your doing it DIY mate.

Rear subframe bushes are about a day maybe slightly more to fit. Problem is the body basically has to be lifted from the rear suspension....

The bushes can be bought from www.300degree.com in alloy - this should reduce rear wheel hop when setting off but will also make the suspension a bit stiffer....

Has anyone tried the subframe spacer bushes?

I've seen em on a few sites and they just bolt on underneath and reduce play in the subframe. Seem really easy to fit and might be just the trick. Think they were about £60 or so but can't remember where I saw them.

StrictlyZ.com I think, together with a bunch of other nice goodies.
