"running into the revlimiter" bad???

Hi there from Austria,

 

I´ve seen a video with a z, drifting around a person (was a show), and the car ran into the limiter around 20 sec without stopping.

 

Does it just sound like damage, or can the engine be injured from that?

    you could easily overheat the engine like that, hardly any airflow to the radiator and such..
