Here is a few pictures and detail on my new toy.

Only cost about £80 but is a lot of fun!!

Oh, the braided fittings were another £30 or so plus an LED from Maplins and a bit of wire.

Bolted it straight onto the inside of the off side wing and plumbed it straight into the brake servo and the chasis.

The switch has gone from the gear lever, to steering wheel and ended up rather neatly on the indicator stalk.

The LED waring light from maplins is slap bang in the middle of the instrument pod and shines nice and bright in your face when you engage the line lock.

Lots of smoke and nice warm tyres and away we go!!!!!!

Er , what is it ? lol

Nice looking car btw . Especially the colour :p

it's a line lock. It allows the front brakes to be held on by a finger switch once the brake pedal is released.

Its the safe and easy was to do a proper burn out at the drag strip without damaging the brakes or clutch.

Its also great fun to do elsewhere(on a private track of course):slap:

i think Andy just buys takeaways from McDonalds so he can impress the chavs in the car park:rofl:

Undo the brake line into the servo that is closest to the bulk head. Undo the same pipe but the other end that goes into the chasis about 30cms directly under the servo.

Plumb the line lock in line and away you go once you have blead the system.

If you need anymore help just let me know!

If hou have a Hurst Line Lock, I can send you my old fitting instructions.

Free?????

Minus the cost of your rear pads!!! :D:D:mac1::mac1: (as Paul said)

Besides, you cant launch as quick with your foot as you can with a micro switch. That's why they use em in Drag Racing!!- Especially with an auto box (again- what they use in drag racing!)
