If i sell the car then im considering options. Always loved 4x4 and offroading, Would like a 90" auto with an lpg conversion!!

And me, had an auto rangie 3.9, got a manual 3.9 on lpg now.Defender definatly the best but no comfort, used to have a E reg 90 TD

About 15mpg on the gas

I reckon that's a bit optimistic, I would have gone for 12mpg and then take 10% off that because LPG is less efficient.

I think Dave is right because he has a 3.9 rangerover on LPG and gets 13 miles per gallon from that and a range rover is heavier than a defender 90, it also depends on how much the LPG is per gallon in your area to the cost of petrol

do what ive just done to my classic rangie...pop a 3.5 into it and you'll see 18mpg and 20-22 on a run, so in real money thats 36-40 mpg  untill they bang more duty on lpg which is a cert..but i have a plan up my sleeve for that one;)

Calor is the same as LPG, right ? And depending on it's use that only 5% VAT and no duty.

Still seems VERY expensive when you buy 47Kg bottles though.
