Anyne got dual pop ?

If so what filters you running.

 

I've been reading up on ways to resolve low rev turbulance and hard braking decelleration stalling. which apparently is caused by the ram air into the induction. This is usually the case when the twin pop takes the air head on from the inlets of the front bumper.

Some say it works others say it doesn't. I may give it a try as it's only £10 worth of flower pots and plastic paint. Then ifthis doesn't sort it I'll go with an additional balance bar between the TB pipes, which is obviously much more expensive and a longer job.

 

An other suggestions, I keep hearing about this low rev kit but can't find any info on it.

Seems like a way of halving the surface area of your filter to me .... Why did you want twin filters ? ;)

Seams a waste to pay for 2 filters for extra air flow, then blank off parts of them to get more back pressure ??

I may have a HKS VPC for sale soon stuart, it would solve these problems bud!

The vpc is not a filter, it gets rid of the MAF and uses a MAP sensor :)

FWIW, I've had my HKS 'mega-flow' (that's the green mushroom) intake on for 6 years now and no problems yet.

 

Topless, are you moving over to a new ECU then, if you're selling the VPC?

No I ended up with two, don't ask how I had a mad moment :o

 

I would change the HKS filter, they allow dust through and when they hit the impellors spinning at 250,000 they dent it

Too true! I've got pics too - The leading edges of the compressor-wheel blades were quite jagged! Unfortunately, I have neither the time or the money at the moment to change them :( (I'd like a pair of Apexi filters really)
