Yup easy to do, does take a little while though as you need to take the front of the engine off.

It's a good time to polish those water pipes, and paint the cam covers as well though :)

You are going to need new belts though. It may be worth doing your cambelt while you have access to it as well. Depends how long ago yours was done.

Also replace the water pump while you are there.

I had a lightened underdrive pulley put on when i had my cam belt done, only problem, i get sometimes is belt squeal when cold, when i get my lightened flywheel on with the manual conversion it should be balanced and stop the squeal

i get a bit ofa squeal too but apart from that it's great. you will need to take the radiator out and a pulley puller (can't think of the proper name) will come in handy. not had any problems w.r.t waterpump etc

If you get one of the ebay pulleys, you may find the keyway slot in the pulley is too small. Will probably need dressing out with a small file to make fit, otherwise no problems. :)

There is no need to remove anything from the engine apart from the fan. Slacken off all the old belts and remove.

The fun bit is removing the existing crank damper pulley if it has not been off in a while!

that reminds me , i bought my pulley from smitheys and the key was too small and it had no timing mark even though it was suposed to be a kosher underdrive pulley......i need to speak to smithy about this as i had totally forgotten
