I know this has been done to death but please could you post the name of your insurance company as a reply to this thread.

 

I've phoned Priveledge who say I need a Tracker! Others are talking silly money.

 

I'm only interested in Jap import insurers.

I use Hyperformance, a Nottingham broker thing. But when I was looking around a month back, the closest quotes were from Tesco (surprisingly low) and the Insurance Factory.

 

Oh, and for info: most other places were talking £1.2k+ for TPFT, while Tesco was £980 TPFT and Hyperformance were £900 FC. My old insurance company were asking £1.5k :S

Don't know if direct line do import's but I got a quote for a UK spec machine which was £685 fully comp and I'm only 22!

 

I'm insured with Direct line and if I remember correctly they won't touch imports, even uk cars have to alarm/immobs fitted which are on thier approved list.

I'm 22 and the only one who could give me a reasonable quote on an Import was Willsure Insurance, been with them around 3 years now.

Just asked 4 a cat 2 imobilliser

And they do imports

Just phoned Tesco for a quote and they said that I needed to have a tracker fitted!
