ive removed the pipe that goes from the dv to the air intake pipe.

(this is the pipie that keeps the air recirculating to the system?)

ive blocked up the ends, so now sorta makes a dumping niose, but nothing major.

im after more chatter/pigeon nois,

do i have to remove anyother pipes off the standard re-circs?

Pigeon noice im sure is turbo surge = not good

Do your dump valves have adjuster screws on the side of it? And which pipes did you install the dump valves / BOV's on??

i have not installed any aftermarket dv.

just want to block of the standard ones, so have the chatter noise.

(know theres a debate to say its bad etc)

do i have to block off the vacum pipe on the standard ones to acheive the pigeon/chatter noise?

why would you do that?

All your doing is reducing the life of the turbos and slowing the car down? :s

Do you know what the recircs are for? And why they are superior to a dump valve?

Fook me, I'm trying to get rid of turbo chatter.

I have bovs already, And they seem to be letting of nice and low down in the rev range, but I get a lot of chatter at about 15 - 16 psi.

I think once I start running 21 - 24 psi I'm, going to need to come up with a better solution if my HKS SQL bOVS can't handle the pressure.

I think you can change the spring rates on hks ssqs so thay blow at higher pressure to prevent turbo chatter thats what i was told when i brought mine. Now i am running 15 psi and seem to be ok.

Yeah I'm going to have to do that.

I'll have a few hours to spare on Saturday while I wait for my turn on the dyno so I'll take my tool kit with me :). Never seem to get time these days to tinker on the car now that my daughter takes up most of my time.

i am a previous SX boy, we all love the pigeon :)

I can appriciate that, the noise does sound allot better than a dump valve, however I'm not much of a pigeon lover, I love my turbo's more :)

i do also,

as said does open up can of worms the debate if it kills you turbo,

just wanted to know if i did it tidy, by removing the pipe on the air intake & blocking them off.

or do i have to remove the Vac pipe on the re-circs too?
