hi can anyone help me my speedo clocks have recently stopped working so i took them out today to check if there was any loose wires and to see if there was a speedo convertor which there is. i then put all the clocks back together took it out for a spin and my power steering wasnt working so i started all over again to check all the plugs and wires were connected all was ok took it out for a spin again worked for about 200 metres and the power steering stoped working again and then when you turn the ignition back off and then back on it works again for another 200 metres can anybody help??

The power steering is directly relatd to the speed with the HICAS system, this means the 2 problems are related.

It could be a dry joint as said above or the speedo converter has gone tits up.

Best bet is to try and get UK clocks, failing that try a search for dry joints and try fixing that before you go for a new converter.

Best of luck.

Could be a dry joint!

A good tip i heard is to spray wd40 on the back of the clocks.(circuit board)

No, that sounds like a very bad plan to me - that stuff will get everywhere !

Try removing the speed converter and see how it goes without it.
