Now and then when I go around a right hand corner, I hear a little click or multple clicks from what sounds like the rear passenger seat or quarter pannel.

When I hear these click the interior light flicks on quickly for each of the clicks.

WTF could it be ?

There are some relays and the fuel ecm behind the rear passenger side panel, sounds like you have a loose connection.

possibly the rear hatch twisting or not seating properly and releaseing the switch.. Which actually come to think of it, how does the car know when the rear hatch is open. Ive never seen a switch!

Sounds like a rogue wire somewhere, probably an earth which is touching something metallic and sparking, earthing the light which makes it come on. It could be behind the door switches.

I'll take the the rear seats out and the rear quarter panels and have a fiddle to see if I can duplicate the problem.

Does the light come on when you open the doors, if not on one side, just remove the screw from the rubber coated pressure switch in the door jamb, and see if the wire is missing off it. I would check bothsides first before taking any panels off.

I'm sure the light does come on when you open the doors but to be honest I can't remember, I'll check tonight.

Hit the nail on the head. There is an interior light relay behind the passenger seat.

are your doors all closing nice and tight? I had the same thing ages ago, was the passanger door not closing tightly, adjusted the catch and that sorted it.

Yep light comes on with boot open, passenger door open and driver door open, all one at a time.

Doors close nice and tight so don;t think the problem is identical
