Hi folks, just thought I would drop in and tell you finally I have sold my pride and joy to a guy called richard from Tralee in co. Kerry today, hope it brings you as much pleasure as it did me richard:)

Was quite sad watching him drive away, that car was like one of the family, but unfortunately it had to be sacrificed, Richard is a member on here and I know it's going to a good home to a fellow enthusiast.

I'm sure in the future i'll get behind the wheel of another z, for now i'm getting sloshed to numb the pain lol,

Promise ill try and drop in here from time to time, you guys have been a great bunch both as friends and tech help

(BTW my pic uploads and sig rights have been removed as i'm not a paid up member maybe someone could put up a pic of my little honey):nana2:

Mick.

Sorry to hear about the exhaust Richard, the garage that carried out the manual conversion told me they had repaired any breaks in the exhaust when they put it back in, obviously didn't do a great job, but then again exhaust was on the car when i bought it nearly 4 years ago, so it could be a lot older. I loved the old sound though, hope it sounds same again once you've finished.

On the AFM try the connector plug, it's come loose a few times, it was working fine for me . While you're in there i'll bet the stillen air filter needs cleaning, i should've done it age ago, as i should a lot of little jobs that needed doing.

Hope you have her up and running soon, don't hesitate to call me if you've any questions , hope I can help. i'm missing it, People in the village are missing it, even the old dears on the way to mass used to stop and walk around it smiling and pointing.. As I said it would charm the knickers off a nun:)

i expected to have a few jobs to do to it as it is 17 years old and things tend to wear out and need replacing. also got a complete bushing set from the states just to tighten up few things. dont worry as the car will look the same as u had it but will just have a few littlle richard touches.:D

yes richard i do need a pump and im in dublin, i cant send you a pm as your not a full member, if you want to text me a price my mob is 085 7598655, thanks trish
