Hi All

The guys at the garage are fitting the racelogic unit but below 20mph it stops seeing the front speed sensors?

Any ideas?

I don't have a clue mate. I have race logic traction control myself but have not played with it for a long time, even though I fitted it myself as well.

I'm assuming they wired the sensor wires to the ABS ECU in the rear drivers quarter pannel ?. Or did they wire them directly to each sensor ?

Do you have the software to connect it up to a laptop ?. I have a laptop dedicated to my car with racelogic, clifford alarm and conzult installed. If you are attending a meet that I am going to I have no problem bringing it along so we can have a look at the settings, but if's I'm totally honest the car was off the road for so long I can't remeber half the stuff on there.

hey mate thanks for the response, yep they wired it up to the abs ecu in the back of the car. If they dont get it sorted I'll take you up on the offer cheers mate

ok in the mean time grab the tech document form tt.net on how to fit it just incase you spot something obvious. I tried to get on there to link it for you but it just kept timing me out.

Still not working for some reason? Anyone else got any ideas Duffer? Cybernet? Below 20mph it looses the signal from the front sensors rears work just fine? Dodgy senors?

I fit was dodgy sensor on the wheels themselves the ABS light would be permanently on as it would have to disable itself.

I think if the wiring is correct and the correct wheel/tyre measurements have been put in correctly then it may be a problem with the racelogic unit itself.

This may sound a stupid question, why sensor's on front wheels, surely you only need to control the slip on the driven wheels,ie.rear wheels.

because if you don't have sensors on the front wheels, the racelogic doesn't know if the back wheels are spinning or not as it has nothing to compare them against.

i thought it worked it out by rpm and speed,if speed down at specific rpm then wheels slipping.Where is speed taken from, gearbox ?
