Scratches. Ba.....s

10 months clear and now scratches over near side wing and door. Starts off faint like a three pronged someting. Maybe a kids bag with a buckle I thought. A wavey line. But then for about 2ins the scratches feel deeper and look clear as if through the paint then lighten again onto the door. So any advice please. I know Tcut wont do it, but have heard of something else on hear. Never used a one, but can get the use of a electric buff. Sorry to go on so long but I'm sure many of you know how it feels. Happened between 10.15pm and 8.10am. So I've ruled out a kids bag on the way to school as it,s street parking.[metalic]

TBH bud if you can feel it, its not a good sign, my advice would be to wet and dry it by hand very gently with 1500 and 2000, then get the t-cut and buffer out and buff the shine back. If its too deep i would think the only thing that can be done is to rub down and spray it.

Thanks for the advice. Shall maybe try to buff out most of it, and just live with 2 or 3 short scrstches until I'm ready to respray as I still have other worck to carry out first. Found an old thread and the guys on it had great belief in something called G3. Have no idea where to get it, or if it's any better than Tcut. Shall just carefully work at it. Thanks.

it's hard to say with out pics. If they are deep scratches id suggest getting atouch up stick and covering up the scratch. then break out some 2500 wet and dry and lightly sand the area if your confident enough, follow this by a t cut and polish and it can look no different to the rest of the pannel

G3 is a rubbing compound, which is basically T-Cut but better. You can get G3 at your local motor trade place or similar, you can probably order it over the internet aswell :)
