Try the magazines that cover old classic british stuff, Classic Car and suchlike. Can remember an advert in one of those mags for a place that did them. E-Type Jags had them. When I got my 1st Zed it had one fitted.

I can get the self adhesive reflective in for you if you struggling, be about a fiver, and i can print anything you like on it, however it would be classeed as a sign and not strictly legal for road use, couldnt print the BS symbol on it required by law.

Alan, I'm liking the sticky numberplate a lot! Much better for airflow around the front of the car.

Berks, nice one, I'll keep you in mind. I could do with one on the red car. :duffer:

interesting you should mention that mate - im just taking a look at the hard plates that i got from fancyplates.com (almost a year ago now and theyve sat here waiting to be fitted), and they show no mark whatsoever! its only when i checked the web site, clicked on T&C and scrolled to the bottom that it says that all plates they make are for off-road only - so that even includes sensible ones!

i suppose its no good displaying one without the BS mark (but with legal font etc) but carrying the original one in the boot in case you get pulled over is it? :( fookin ell why does it have to be so complicated in this age of technology. all they need to do is tap the plate number in and they can see its registered, insured and taxed ffs

spoken like the end of each episode of the Apprentice: "Dave's search for a legal sticky-on number plate... continues..."

You will find fancyplates are not a legally registered number plate supplier therfor they cant sell plates for road use even though they can still make them.

Only suppliers registered with dvla can stamp the BS number on them, and when you do this you are declaring that the plate you have made comlies with all the current legislation.

Anyone needing plates is welcome to google 1st Class Autoparts in Nuneaton, give me a bell and ill sort some out, Ive just enquired about becoming a trader on the sxoc so fingers crossed that should raise some business, Might give the Z club a try too.
