you won't be able to use a plasma screen as a monitor I believe as they are limited to 320*280 display, you would be better off getting a 19inch LCD monitor,

you need a TV license if you have a means of receiving a TV signal I believe

Bob would you consider a projector?

They are cheaper than plasma screens, project much bigger images and quite a lot have VGA support.

Bob,go for a SONY 24" like mine, you will defo not be dissapointed.About a grand an half, the resolution spec is awsome.

I saw one at Scan in Bolton. They had it playing a music CD and the colour and quality was fantastic. I am sure that one supported a monitor connection too. Most do as far as I knew.

Its just under £4000 for a 42" Sony Plasma Screen

you do need a tv license for them unless you can prove you will be showing nothing other than recorded media with nothing off the tv....i would wait another yr if you want one as they will be coming down in price beware of the bigger screens they wear out and have to be repaired by specialists........for anythin at 42''-50'' size ure looking at the 4-5g mark at least

Hi I don't know what these guys are like but they have some very cheap plasma screens.
