Kingpin and upper link

Basicaly i have play in my front passanger's side wheel and i think it is coming from the upper link and the kingpin bearings. Anybody know where to get these or the part numbers?

nice one, jamie.

Try Danny at DTA as a starter.

You can find him in the traders section.

If its standard parts, you might want to try MJP aswell bud, again in the traders section :)

Last time I looked the Zed doesn't have king pins.

If you have play when you rock the wheel then look at the wheel bearing, if you have play when you put a bar under the tyre and lift then look at the bottom ball joint.

re bush the upper link with Nismo parts. It takes a couple of hours with a vice and mallet and drift and costs maybe £160-£200 for the 8 bushes needed to do both sides. Maybe same in dollars from USA.

I remember getting them from Nissan in St Helens http://www.middlehurst.com/

There is also a bulletin about the top link and it explains that for MOTs a certain amount of play is permitted.

popup_image.php?pID=124&invis=1 it's the bit labeled 'kingpin' if it is not called so any idea of the actual name?

cheers all, Jamie.
