My mens team has made it to Essex League Cup Finals at eth end of this month, we beat billericay 3 1 yesturday. WHoo Hoo

 

Rules of teh tournament state any player in teh final must of played previously so we repeatedly made sure thoes players knew about this and made sure they new the finals date in case of any problems. Obviously we want to feild our best teams.

 

2 juniors, 1 plays away, both noted for thier lack or organising skills have both made sure tey are avaialble for the weekend, as have I.

 

The 4th player tells us today, oh no I cant make it I am away that weekend in scotalnd. :rant:

 

If we have known, we would not of feilded him yesturday, now we are player barred and the only fella who is eligible will be so far out of his depth its pointles him showing.

 

So if anyone knows a Rob Scott who works for an international insurance broker in the city, plese let him know what a plonker he is.

 

Honestly, right now me and the team captain just want to kick him right in the nuts. If he was a girl I swear he would be blonde and calles Chardenay-Mercedes-Spears

In tennis terms this is the equivalent for teh club as canvey making the FA cup final, the club we are up against has 2000 members, 11 of which play National League or Satalite tour, against our 60 and only rob and myslef able to even come close to that level.

The guy taking robs place is lower club standard and can just about win points against me and I am going to have to be at my best. Now what was a slight uphill battle is now everest

I think you should sieze his balls.

Give the guy a chance. You never know he may turn up trumps.

 

If not what does it matter. From the sound of it you already think you can't win anyway.

 

Perhaps we should have a Z meet at the event and come and chear you on.

 

We might get some cars turn up if it isn't in south end. :rofl:

yep. we been in 3 finals, and every time some twat pulls out and drops us in it.

 

reply to it sounds like were going to loose, you dont know me very well. We knocked out the 1st, 3rd and 6th seeds for good reason. But the guy who is filling the spot, lets say his enthusiasm doesnt make up for his lack of ability. His nickname is Squidly coz his arms and legs go all over the place.

Plus it will mean that we have to put 2 juniors together, and that is never ever a good move but I am the only one who can help squidly out.

 

We will have to have a think and come up with the answer.
