Rad fan cover

I've noticed from many of your engine pics that some of you have had the rad fan cover removed. Just wanna know, does it improve the cooling if removed? Also if I wanted to remove it how can I do that?

    no Mate it makes the cooling worse the fan and cowl are designed to suck air through the rad so removing it lowers its efficiency , mostly cars without rad covers are running bigger uprated rads so its not an issue on those
