I've just received an application form through from South Lanarkshire Council, inviting me to attend the above.

 

It says that the show is happening on Sunday, 17th of August. It is free of charge to display your car

(or £4 if you want to park it in the car park).

 

It also says that if we want to have a club stand, numbers are limitd to 20 (i cant really see us having a problem with going over though! :tongue:)

 

Also, the letter states that all cars displayed must have an MOT and Insurance for use on a public highway as the showing arenas are being treated as th same.

 

There's one little question though: Would we be classed as classic cars or modified cars?

 

They need numbers in by the 4th of july.

mine will be ready by then mot will be next week so fingers crossed it all goes well but i dont see it being a problem getting it ready for this event

well my car has no wings or bumpers at the mo waiting on that nise guy at the z centre sending new ones to me i will get it together for the show but might not be painted but who cares lol ill still be there last time was a great day so dont miss it guys if you say your going be there or be square lol

Would have like to bring mine along but the sills need done. In fact I have chopped lumps out of the bad side with an angle grinder. A bit of work needed then.

Or you could just make them up yourself, like tight wad me :D

just ordered the inners and outers. Thought it would be quicker and neater that way. I'm going to have to fab some bits for one side tho as its a bit of a mess inside the o/s sill at the back.

Its a fair bit of work to do, you will probably have to repair some of the arches and floor section. happy welding :D

Ok the show is getting near, Michael what time have the cars got to be in by?, so that we can all arrange to go in together to ensure we are parked in a group.

i've left the paperwork for the show at my work, so i'll post up later with more details.

hey just to let you know i wont make this now, car failed mot goes back in this week and should pass but cant drive it till i get the vic test done so i can go road tax it, really gutted been looking forward to this for ages

On another note, im gonna wait until monday and if i haven't heard anything from the organisers, with regards to entrance times and passes, i'll get in contact and chase them up.

hi tommy ill be taking it as is and will prep it up for painting the following week im going to do it candy blue i think its the best colour ive seen on a zed so far i dont think ill be puting the rear demon valance on so it will be up for grabs soon i like the back the way it looks.
